Ultrasound diagnosis of the skin involves visualizing skin changes using high-frequency ultrasound. The state-of-the-art DUB SkinScanner, equipped with 35 MHz and 75 MHz transducers, enables a detailed analysis of the skin at depths ranging from 3.5 to 8 mm. This method replaces skin biopsy and provides a diagnosis of skin condition in cases where symptoms are difficult to identify with the naked eye.

Importance: This method is non-invasive and painless, offering safety and high measurement accuracy. All examinations are performed without damaging the tissues and can be repeated multiple times on the same area of skin. The new device allows visualization of the skin and subcutaneous tissue down to the bone.
